Anti-Block Masterbatch
Cleaner film separation without haze loss.
Anti-Block Masterbatch is a mineral anti-block dispersion in a polyolefin carrier that creates micro-roughness on the film surface, preventing layer-to-layer cling at winding, storage and unwinding without affecting optical clarity or seal performance.
In high-speed blown and cast film operations, roll-to-roll blocking is a persistent problem. It causes micro-tearing at unwinding, jams form-fill-seal jaws, and forces line stoppages. Anti-Block eliminates this by placing a microscopic standoff between adjacent film layers so they separate cleanly every time, without damage to print or lamination surfaces.
We supply clarity-grade anti-block for clarity-critical applications like transparent laminate and printed film, and cost-effective grades for applications like agricultural and industrial film. Carrier resin is matched to your base polymer so there is no compatibility issue on your line.

Key benefits
Clean film release
Prevents layer-to-layer cling at winding and unwinding, with no tearing at the FFS jaw.
Optical clarity kept
Minimal haze impact, suitable for transparent laminate and clear overwrap grades.
Low dosage required
Effective at low addition levels across LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP and BOPP.
Packaging films
Suitable for flexible and rigid packaging films, with clean, consistent dispersion.

Frequently asked questions
What is Anti-Block Masterbatch used for?
It stops layers of plastic film from sticking together, so rolls and bags open easily. Typical uses include packaging film, liners and bags.
Which polymers does it work with?
Standard grades are compatible with polyethylene, polypropylene and BOPP. We match the carrier resin to your base resin so it disperses cleanly during processing.
Can I get a trial sample?
Yes. Share your base resin, end application and your film type and clarity needs, and we will ship a matched grade for line evaluation along with a Certificate of Analysis.
Does it affect film clarity?
Good grades keep film clear while preventing blocking. We match the grade to your film so clarity and easy opening are balanced.
What is the typical lead time?
Standard grades ship in 7 to 14 working days from order confirmation. Custom formulations matched to a specific application take 3 to 4 weeks. We confirm an exact timeline at the quote stage.
