Anti-Rodent Masterbatch
Built-in bitter taste that keeps rodents off cables, pipes and film.
Anti-Rodent Masterbatch is a non-toxic bittering (taste-deterrent) blend on a polyolefin carrier that repels rats, mice and field rodents from cable jackets, drip irrigation pipe, agricultural film and buried utilities in PE and PP compounds without compromising mechanical properties.
A bittering masterbatch built around one of the most bitter substances known, pre-dispersed in a polyolefin carrier. Rodents bite-test new materials before chewing through; the intense bitterness on first contact aborts the bite and trains the animal to leave the surface alone. Non-toxic, non-leaching, permanent.

Frequently asked questions
What is Anti-Rodent Masterbatch used for?
It makes plastic unattractive to rodents, helping protect cables, pipe and film from gnawing damage. Typical uses include cable jacketing, underground pipe, drip irrigation and agricultural film.
Which polymers does it work with?
Standard grades are compatible with polyethylene and polypropylene. We match the carrier resin to your base resin so the masterbatch melts and disperses cleanly during processing.
Can I get a trial sample?
Yes. Share your base resin and end application, and we will ship a matched grade for line evaluation along with a Certificate of Analysis.
How long does the protection last?
The active is built into the polymer, so the deterrent works for the service life of the part. Loading is matched to the application.
What is the typical lead time?
Standard grades ship in 7 to 14 working days from order confirmation. Custom formulations matched to a specific application take 3 to 4 weeks. We confirm an exact timeline at the quote stage.
