Anti-Static Masterbatch
No dust pickup. No stack-cling. No static crackle.
Anti-Static Masterbatch stops plastic from building up static charge that attracts dust or risks sparks. The active migrates to the surface of the finished part and lets the charge bleed away safely. Used in electronics packaging, agricultural film and clean, dust-free containers.
A migratory antistat pre-dispersed in a polyolefin carrier. The active migrates to the polymer surface, attracts atmospheric moisture and forms a thin conductive water film that bleeds off the surface charge. Used on packaging films, electronics packaging, agri film and woven sacks where static is a yield, dust or safety problem.

Frequently asked questions
What’s the recommended letdown ratio?
Letdown ratio depends on the end-use and required bloom time. Film and bag applications typically require less than injection-moulded parts and electronics packaging. Fast-blooming grades are available for quick effect; slower-blooming grades are preferred for food-contact applications. Contact us for grade-specific guidance.
Which resins is it compatible with?
Standard grades are formulated on PE or PP carriers, compatible with HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, PP and EVA. Slower-blooming grades are preferred for food-contact and clear-film applications. Faster-blooming grades are preferred for high humidity and quicker bloom, but are not always food-contact certified.
How does it work?
Internal antistats are amphiphilic molecules: a non-polar tail compatible with the polyolefin and a polar head. After moulding, the additive blooms slowly to the surface; the polar heads attract a thin film of atmospheric moisture, creating a microscopic conductive layer that dissipates static. Surface resistivity drops well below that of untreated PE at the recommended loading.
How long does the antistatic effect last?
Slower-blooming grades give durable static control for the typical service life of the part (months to years), the migration is slow and continuous from the polymer bulk. Faster-blooming grades give a quicker initial effect but plateau sooner. Surface resistivity is humidity-dependent and performs better at higher relative humidity; for dry environments, pair with a topical external antistat.
Can I get a trial sample?
Yes. We supply 1-2 kg trial samples for line evaluation. Share resin grade, end-use (film, sack, moulding), required bloom time and target surface resistivity; we ship a matched grade with a Certificate of Analysis. Sample shipping is free within India; export samples are available with freight at cost.
What’s the lead time?
Standard grades ship in 7-14 working days. Custom formulations matched to a specific bloom rate, food-contact spec or extended-life requirement take 3-4 weeks. We confirm an exact timeline at the quote stage.
