Anti-Moisture Powder
Keeps polymer pellets and finished parts dry through processing and storage.
Anti-Moisture Removal Powder stops moisture defects before they start. Plastic resins, especially recycled plastic, pick up moisture from the air. When that plastic gets melted, the moisture turns to steam inside the machine and ruins the finished part with streaks, pinholes or bubbles.
Anti-Moisture Powder is mixed in with the resin before it enters the line. The active chemistry chemically locks onto the water molecules, so they cannot turn to steam during processing. The plastic melts cleanly without a separate drying stage.
3 grades
Three grades, one for each feed condition.
Tell us your resin and your line, we will recommend the right grade and confirm the dosing on a trial run.
-
Royal
Premium grade. Ultra-fine mesh that keeps the extruder sieve clear, triple-coated for low dusting and longer shelf life, and strong reactivity that generates heat on contact with moisture to improve melt uniformity and surface finish.

Frequently asked questions
What's the typical loading?
Addition level depends on how moist your feed resin is. At low to moderate addition levels it handles most production moisture; heavily contaminated regrind may need a higher dose, confirmed by a short trial on your actual feed.
Which plastics does it work with?
All common polyolefins (HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, PP), plus PVC, PS, ABS, EVA, and engineering plastics like PA, PBT, PC. The treated surface keeps it from clouding the final part.
How much moisture can it absorb?
Treated calcium oxide absorbs a high proportion of its own weight in water. In practice, it reduces moisture effectively at low addition levels, keeping the line running cleanly.
What's the shelf life and how do I store it?
Store in original sealed packaging, cool and dry, away from humidity, and use within the stated shelf life. Once opened, use promptly and reseal between uses.
Does it keep my film clear and transparent?
At typical recommended addition levels, no. The treated calcium oxide disperses cleanly and stays invisible in the final part. For very high-clarity packaging films, we recommend our finer-micron grade and a quick trial.
Is it safe for food packaging?
Standard grades are not food-contact certified. We supply a separate food-contact grade on request, flag the application at the enquiry stage and we will recommend the right one with compliance documentation.
