Odor Remover Masterbatch
Removes odors from recycled polymer for clean, neutral pellets.
Odor Remover Masterbatch strips the smell out of recycled and processed plastic. It carries a mineral active that traps and locks odor molecules inside the pellet, leaving a clean, neutral material. Used by recyclers and converters making film, pipe and moulded parts from recycled feedstock and regrind.
A mineral-based odor absorber masterbatch, formulated on the odor-absorbing mineral with optional activated carbon synergy, pre-dispersed in an LDPE or LLDPE carrier. The active locks volatile odorants generated during polymer cracking, recycling and ageing inside the mineral, leaving a clean pellet. Used by post-consumer recycled material processors, geomembrane converters, pharma and food packaging lines that need a neutral, low-VOC pellet.

Key benefits
Eliminates volatile odors in recycled plastic
Locks volatile odor compounds inside the odor-absorbing mineral for a neutral pellet.
Compatible with PE, PP & recycled polyolefins
Mineral active runs cleanly across the full polyolefin window: virgin and recycled PE, PP and EVA.
Clean, neutral pellet
Locks volatile odorants from recycling and ageing inside the mineral, leaving a low-odor pellet.
Stable through processing
Tolerates the standard polyolefin processing window without decomposition or back-migration.

Frequently asked questions
What is Odor Remover Masterbatch used for?
It absorbs and traps unpleasant odors in recycled plastic, leaving a cleaner, more neutral pellet. Typical uses include recycled film, pipe and moulded parts.
Which polymers does it work with?
Standard grades are compatible with polyethylene and polypropylene, including recycled polyolefins. We match the carrier resin to your base resin so it disperses cleanly during processing.
Can I get a trial sample?
Yes. Share your base resin, end application and your feedstock and the odor you are dealing with, and we will ship a matched grade for line evaluation along with a Certificate of Analysis.
Does it work on recycled material?
Yes. It is designed for recycled polyethylene and polypropylene, where it locks in the odors released during recycling and ageing.
What is the typical lead time?
Standard grades ship in 7 to 14 working days from order confirmation. Custom formulations matched to a specific application take 3 to 4 weeks. We confirm an exact timeline at the quote stage.
