Polymer Processing Aid Masterbatch
Removes rough surface defects so extrusion lines run at full speed.
Polymer Processing Aid Masterbatch makes film and pipe lines run faster and cleaner. It coats the die with a thin slip layer that removes a rough surface defect called sharkskin, lowers pressure at the die and lifts output. Used on hard-to-process LLDPE and HDPE blown film and pipe.
A processing aid ready-dispersed in a polyolefin pellet. It coats the die wall while the line runs and lets the molten plastic slip across it. This removes the rough sharkskin surface, lowers pressure at the die and lifts output on hard-to-process LLDPE and HDPE. It is one of the most effective fixes for demanding blown film and small pipe lines.

Key benefits
Removes rough film surface
Clears the rough sharkskin defect at the die for smooth, glossy film, even on hard-to-process grades.
Reduces die build-up & pressure
Coats the die wall to lower pressure and reduce streaks during long production runs.
Higher line output
Lets the line run faster at the same pressure, giving a real output gain on film and pipe.
Smoother surface finish
Improves gloss and clarity on flexible packaging and barrier films without affecting downstream properties.

Frequently asked questions
What is PPA Masterbatch used for?
It helps plastic flow more smoothly during extrusion, reducing surface defects and letting lines run faster and cleaner. Typical uses include blown and cast film, pipe and wire coating.
Which polymers does it work with?
Standard grades are compatible with polyethylene and polypropylene. We match the carrier resin to your base resin so the masterbatch melts and disperses cleanly during processing.
Can I get a trial sample?
Yes. Share your base resin, end application and your resin and line type, and we will ship a matched grade for line evaluation along with a Certificate of Analysis.
What problems does it solve?
It reduces rough, hazy or uneven film surfaces and pressure build-up, so film and pipe run cleaner at higher output.
What is the typical lead time?
Standard grades ship in 7 to 14 working days from order confirmation. Custom formulations matched to a specific application take 3 to 4 weeks. We confirm an exact timeline at the quote stage.
